Due to the expansion of our business we are looking for an experienced and reliable car & van mechanic to join our busy workshop. The successful applicant must be confident working independently and have the experience to carry out a wide range of mechanical repairs. You will be working for a family business, with an enviable reputation and over 40 years experience in the motor trade.

Your Responsibilities:

• Full and interim vehicle servicing 
• Timing belt and timing chain replacement 
• Engine removal and replacement
• Clutch and transmission replacement 
• Brake and suspension repairs
• Vehicle diagnostics and fault finding 
• General mechanical repairs and maintenance 
• Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years experience as a car and van mechanic 
• Experience with timing belts/chains and engine replacements is essential
• Strong diagnostic and fault finding skills
• Reliable, hardworking and able to work independently or as part of a team
• Full UK driving license preferred

The successful applicant must be confident working independently and have the experience to carry out a wide range of preparation tasks to ensure our vehicles are ready for resale. You will be working for a family business, with an enviable reputation and over 40 years experience in the motor trade.

Your Responsibilities:

• Hot pressure washing in a purpose built wash bay facility & exterior detailing 
• Interior deep cleaning & detailing 
• Machine polishing & refinishing 
• Fitment of ply ling kits to load areas 
• Steel & alloy wheel painting   
• General preparation 
• Ensuring our display area is clean & tidy 
• Regular cleaning of all display vehicles 
• Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard

Requirements:

• Reliable, hardworking and able to work independently or as part of a team
• Full UK driving license preferred
